Grok is the frontier model line from SpaceXAI, the AI company inside SpaceX. It was built to be useful, maximally truth-seeking, and a little more willing than its peers to follow a hard question all the way down.

The current flagship is Grok 4.6, released 12 August 2026. It is the model to use for code, long-running agents, and knowledge work. Images, video, and voice have their own dedicated models in the same family.
